Creating Your Banner

Secure Privacy offers a Google Consent Mode compliant FREE cookie banner designed to get you started with your compliance journey. Follow this guide to install the free cookie banner from Secure Privacy

Creating and activating your account with Secure Privacy
  1. Create a free Secure Privacy account from our Pricing page.
  2. Follow the wizard on the screen to enter your domain name and other details.
  3. You will receive an activation link on your email address.
  4. Please activate your account.
Installing the script on your domain

  1. Once you have activated your account, log in to your Secure Privacy account.

  2. On the screen that is displayed, you will see the Secure Privacy script associated with your domain. The script will be in the below format:

  3. Copy the script and add it to your domain. We recommend placing Secure Privacy script immediately after the opening of <head> tag.

Testing the script installation
  1. If you are ready to test your script on the initial installation screen, click the Test Installation button on the same screen.
  2. If you are not ready, click Skip Installation, and you can always test the script installation later from the Domain Settings screen.
Seeing the banner in action

The above steps should show the Secure Privacy cookie banner on your domain. Depending on Content Delivery Network (CDN) caching, sometimes the banner may take long to appear.

Conclusion

Your Google Consent Mode compliant free cookie banner is now ready. At any point, if you wish to make changes to your cookie banner, please navigate to Secure Privacy Dashboard.
